Planning
Kynnersley Parish Council is a statutory consultee on all Planning Applications which are registered with Telford & Wrekin Council when they are sited within the boundary of the Parish.
The Parish Council includes such consultations on the next available Full Council Agenda for discussion and consideration, however, sometimes there is insufficient time to do this within the meeting schedule of either the Parish Council or TWC’s commitment to determine applications within a specified timescale. If this happens, it may be necessary to call a special meeting in the Village Hall, to hear the views of local residents – especially if the application appears to be controversial in any way.
Kynnersley has recently been designated as a Conservation Area – please take a look at the Conservation Area Management Plan (add the link) for more information.
Planning and Development can be very emotive and the Parish Council will represent the views of the community whenever possible, but it is always important that anyone who has an opinion on a proposal should submit their own views direct to TWC so that they can be taken into account when determining the application.
